This is how we handle such occasions:

  • IN THE EVENT OF A PERSONAL EMERGENCY, INCLEMENT WEATHER, NATURAL DISASTER, SUDDEN ILLNESS, ETC...
    • First, we will send a notice by text and/or email to our client and artists notifying all parties of an ALTERNATE DATE.
    • If the new date is fine with you, you may confirm or decline this date.  â€‹

  • If the alternate date DOES NOT work for you:
    • You may use the notification link in your email to select an alternative date that serves you better.

PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS . . . . . . . . .  $100
  • This $100 non-refundable fee is for the artist's time.
  • This fee is not a deposit and will not be applied toward the cost of your procedure since you have the opportunity to schedule in phone consultation at no charge.
  • Cancellations will forfeit 50% of this fee. ​

ALLERGY TESTING
  • Allergy Testing is not mandatory and must be requested by you at least a week in advance to allow time for a reaction to appear. 
  • This is just a precautionary measure, that does NOT guarantee that a future reaction will not occur.
  •  IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN, WE CAN MAIL YOU A TEST.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A PRIVATE CONSULTATION or APPOINTMENT:

  • Click on the BOOK NOW link above.
  • Click on SERVICES.
  • Select a DATE.
  • Select an ARTIST. 
    • Artist's availability is shown at the time of booking.
  • Enter your name, address, email address and your cc information to secure your appointment. ​

Consultations are informational only and do not include any makeup application or designing to show what your brows would look like if tattood. The reason we don't offer this is because Permanent Makeup does not look like traditional makeup, therefore one might get the wrong impression of what to expect.

  • More than one person may attend a consultation, so feel free to bring a friend!
​
  • If you must reschedule a consultation, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice, if possible.

  • PLEASE DON'T MAKE ANY OTHER COSMETIC PROCEDURE APPOINTMENTS (Botox, Filler, Surgery)  FOR AT LEAST 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO  (OR FOLLOWING) YOUR PROCEDURE.

The success of these procedures depends upon BOTH of us following the rules.

WE CANNOT WORK ON YOU WITHOUT DESTROYING THE BOTOX OR FILLER WORK. If this happens, you will forfeit the booking fee and we will have to reschedule your appointment to a new date and A NEW DEPOSIT will be required to secure your next appointment.  (No Budging on this one!)
THE SUCCESS OF EACH PROCEDURE HINGES ON BOTH OF US:

REMINDER:  THIS IS A MULTI TREATMENT PROCESS!

  • Be sure to read THE PLAN AHEAD, TIMING, AFTERCARE, & HEALING PAGES to make sure you have a clear understanding of our recommendations, and plan accordingly.

  • BOOKING FEES & CANCELLATIONS:  (Fees are applicable toward your procedure)​

  • BOOKING FEE FOR APPOINTMENTS . . . . Typically 50% of the cost of the service. 
​
  • BOOKING FEES are collected to make sure your remember to show up for the appointment that we reserved for you. All but the fee for a private consultation, are applicable toward the cost of the procedure. This booking fee is refundable in the event you change your mind, as long as you cancel 5-days prior to your appointment.
​
  • As a courtesy to others who may want your spot, we would appreciate notice of a week or two, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.
  • If you do not offer at least a 5-days notice of cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reset your next appointment.​​

  • A reminder about the FAQ page...  You can read over the questions one by one. You can check them out by CATEGORY, or you can SEARCH for a particular answer by clicking on the Search Bar and typing in a keyword pertaining to your question.

  • PLEASE NOTE!  Our Calendar is available to you 24/7/365​

  • Our calendar fills up fast, so we always recommend reserving your follow-up sessions at the same time when booking session number 1. This step will ensure that you don't have a long wait between appointments.  If you end up not needing the additional appointments, you can bump the appointment out a few months or cancel altogether.

SELF ADMINISTERED ALLERGY PATCH TEST 

By agreeing to administer your own test, you also agree to take on any responsibility for the outcome. You must clean the area thoroughly and keep the treated area clean until fully healed. Permetika does not take responsibility for improperly executed tests. 
​

STEP 1 CLEANSE:

Wash a small area of skin on the inside of the elbow or behind the ear. Rub the area briskly with an alcohol pad. Allow the area to air dry. 
 

STEP 2 APPLY PIGMENT: 

When the test area is dry, apply a TINY drop of pigment to the cleansed area using a sterile Q-tip.  Important:  Use the SAME color from the same lot/batch# as will be used during treatment.  
 
STEP 3: LIGHTLY PRICK SKIN:
Using a lancet or sterile needle, prick the skin through the drop of pigment (as if to remove a TINY splinter). Prick 10-20 times in a small circle about the size of a mustard seed - NOT THE SIZE OF A PENCIL ERASURE! Prick just long enough to deliver some color into the skin.
​
STEP 4 MONITOR:
Monitor the area for the next 72 hours. The skin may itch and or sting slightly upon application, however, it should not burn or feel intensely painful. Itching may continue. This is a normal part of the healing process, so don’t worry.
​
STEP 5 FOLLOW-UP:
Follow-up with your client after 3-5 days to inquire about the condition of the tested skin patch.  
 

Analyzing the Skin Patch Test Results

As previously stated, most clients will have a slight sensitivity, stinging, or itchy feeling to the test upon application, and itching may remain as the skin heals. This is normal and not a sign of an allergic reaction. However, you should not experience burning or severe irritation that they consider unbearable.

SIGNS TO WATCH FOR:  WELTING, OOZING, SWELLING, REDNESS AROUND TREATED AREA.
 

RESULTS: NO IRRITATION AT ALL

ACTION: GREEN LIGHT GO! This skin patch test did not present any signs of allergic reactions. It is ok to proceed with scheduling the cosmetic tattooing appointment.  (See warning below).

RESULTS:  MILD TO MODERATE IRRITATION

ACTION: PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION: This skin patch test only demonstrated mild to moderate reactions., so exercise caution and consult your physician before proceeding with any cosmetic tattooing procedure. (See warning below).
 

RESULTS:  SEVERE

 Irritation, Burning, or Itching, Welting, Oozing Swelling, or Redness extending from patch tested area.
ACTION:  YOU ARE NOT A CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING: This skin patch test demonstrated signs of allergic reactions. You must consult your physician for further treatment.

WARNING: A negative test is NOT a guarantee that a reaction will not appear at some point in the future. The reason for this is that your body can decide at ANY point in the future, to become allergic to almost anything. It depends on the state of your immune system.

  • IF YOU START WITH PERMETIKA, THEN MOVE TO ANOTHER TECHNICIAN, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE FURTHER WORK ON YOU DEPENDING ON EACH CASE. HOWEVER, ALL PROCEDURES RETURNING PROCEDURES WILL START OVER AS "NEW" PRICING SINCE WE ARE ADOPTING THE WORK (AND POTENTIAL PROBLEMS) FROM A COMPETITOR.​

  • HEALTH DECLARATION FORMS 

    • PLEASE SEND CLARIFICATION THAT YOU ARE HEALTHLY WITH NO CONTAGIOUS ILLNESSES OR DISEASES WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.

    • If you wake up with a cold, fever, or chills on the day of your procedure, we ask that you call to reset your appointment.​

  • ABOUT EYEBROW PROCEDURES:

    • Stop using ALL BROW GROWTH SERUMS (Latisse, etc.)  for about a month prior to the treatment.

    • NO NEED TO SHAPE YOUR BROWS BEFORE COMING IN!

  • ABOUR EYELINER PROCEDURES:

    • Stop using ALL LASH GROWTH SERUMS (Latisse, etc.)  for about a month prior to the treatment.

    • REMOVE lash extensions at least 4-5 days prior to any eyeliner procedure. Removal makes the eyelids sensitive, and the tender skin needs a little time to recover prior to tattooing.

  • ABOUT LIP PROCEDURES:

    • If you are prone to Cold Sores or Fever Blisters, you must obtain a prescription for an anti-viral prescription prior to a lip tattoo.

    • Lips may saturate well on the first session, however MOST people need 2-3 sessions, sometimes more, to retain the amount of color desired. The reason is lips are very ACTIVE. Lots of licking, wiping, talking... it's a wonder that ANY color stays. 

    • PRE-MEDICATION? If you have to take antibiotics prior to routine dental work, OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL PROCEDURE, you'll need to do the same for our treatments.

    • Know when to start and stop taking certain foods and supplements.​

    • NEVER DISCONTINUE ANY MEDICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED BY YOUR DOCTOR WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH YOUR DOCTOR, FIRST!

  • FUTURE MAINTENENCE

    • Future maintenance is required over the years to keep things looking fresh! Don't let 10 years lapse and THEN share who did the work. Keep it up to keep everyone looking good!
