Dream
Team

OUR VISION FOR THE TANDEM PROCESS:

Think about the word TANDEM for a minute. . .

  • A TANDEM BIKE is a bicycle built for two.

  • TANDEM SKYDIVING is an experience where two people jump out of an airplane together, strapped to one another during the entire descent.

    • The instructor guides the student through the whole jump from exit through freefall, piloting the canopy, and landing.

    • Tandem skydiving is a great way for beginners to experience skydiving as it requires minimal training.

    • Tandem skydiving is considered safer than solo skydiving and greatly increases your odds of a safe landing!

WITH THAT SAID, CAN YOU DRAW ANY CONCLUSIONS NOW?

Yes, the same principles can apply here in our profession as well. In fact, this concept has been used in some of the higher-end hair salons and allows newer hair stylists the opportunity to work closely with a master hair stylist and helps to bridge the learning curve while developing the skills necessary to create CONSISTENTLY beautiful work! it also helps to curb normal newbie mistakes.

TANDEM ARTISTS HERE AT PERMETIKA HAVE A UNIQUE SUPPORT SYSTEM THAT IS ABSENT IN THE REAL WORLD OF PERMANENT COSMETICS!

The sad truth is that many new permanent makeup technicians take a 3-day class and are thrown into a highly competitive raging storm with zero support! It takes many hours of practice and months, if not years, to learn the more intricate parts of the craft. Therefore, most unfortunately, will sink. Only a few strong ones who possess artistic skill and people skills will be left swimming against the full tide!

The tandem process supports our industry in 3 ways...

THE CLIENT BENEFITS BY. . .

  • Saving money without sacrificing quality when booking a Permetika Artist along WITH Connie.

  • Consistent results can be expected that very closely resembles Connie's Solo work.

  • At the end of the procedure, Connie performs a final quality control check, assuring the client's ultimate satisfaction!

THE ARTISTS BENEFIT BY . . .

  • Working from a CONSISTENT and solid foundation. They will now reach their learning milestones at a much more secure and rapid pace - than going it alone.

  • They will have the support they need throughout each procedure and since they will never encounter a situation they can't handle, they are more relaxed and ready to face the day!

THE MASTER ARTISTS BENEFITS BY . . .

  • The process of duplication creates extra time in the day to help more people at a better price point.

  • The day becomes much more efficient and lucrative by leveraging quantity without sacrificing quality.

  • Opportunities increase for everyone involved.

You can still schedule SOLO ARTIST Visits:

  • Connie or Master Artist   .  .  .  .  . $1800

    • Follow-ups Sessions  .  .   .  . $400

  • TANDEM ARTISTS  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  $1400  (Includes Connie)

    • Follow-ups Sessions     .  .  .  .  . $300

  • PERMETIKA ARTISTS   .  .  .  .  .  .  .   $850

    • Follow-ups Sessions   .  .  .  $300

THINGS TO KNOW IN ADVANCE:

  • ALL TANDEM FOLLOW-UPS are to be scheduled with the original Tandem Artist, not with Connie.

  • If you want to request Connie for future sessions, you must pay the difference between the Tandem Artist and Master Artist levels and be willing to explain the reason(s) for your decision.

  • Please be sure to check out our other procedures as well.  We have a lot of amazing talent to offer you . . . Your day here will always be fun, enlightening, and most often, entertaining as well!

TRUST THE TANDEM PROCESS!

EVERY FACE is different and requires varying levels of skill. This can be an unknown factor to both client and artist. So having Connie's backup ensures that each artist develops at their own pace and refines them as they develop their own style of work, and the clients have a level of assurance that things will turn out great.

How do we know the process works?

We've DONE it... The Tandem process was created during training classes when Connie first took brand new artists under her wing. Connie had to ensure that:

  • Models leaves with a smile on their face.

  • Artists leave feeling confident.

  • Connie leaves feeling relieved!

So how do you accomplish this with three scared females facing the following scenarios?:

  • The technician rarely wants to go first. It's scary to drum up the nerve to put that first mark on someone's face. . .  but the ONLY REAL WAY to learn about working on live skin - - - IS TO WORK ON LIVE SKIN!

  • The models really don't WANT to be a guinea pig! Most are there due to the affordability of the procedure... but let's face it, they are trusting a newbie, in hopes that they will be happy.

  • The trainer wants the best possible outcome for everyone.

The solution to all of these challenges is . . .

. . . to introduce the Tandem method.

  • THE CLIENT gets good work, even though a "new" artist is performing part of the work.

  • THE ARTIST has daily opportunities to gain incredible experience and develop a full understanding under the close supervision of a master artist, prior to launching out on their own!

  • After working Tandem for a while, the artists will go through an evaluation every 6 months to assess if they are ready to fly on their own! Until then, Tandem procedures help the artists by learning and growing on a daily basis.

  • THE MASTER ARTIST OR TRAINER has a sense of pride and team spirit for helping an underling break out into the world of cosmetic tattooing.

  • This also gives the Master Artist the flexibility in her schedule to service more clients, by applying HER expertise on the most important part of your service.... the building of the shape on YOUR FACE!

We have tested The Tandem Theory at length and we are all confident that TEAM WORK is where it's at... With the Tandem process, we all produce great work, TOGETHER, every time! And we think you'll APPROVE of the concept and LOVE our team!

WHO KNOWS... When we get our team fully developed and working on their own, maybe we can start a Franchise in a town near you... we will see what the future holds!

WHAT WILL YOUR TANDEM DAY LOOK LIKE?

You'll be greeted by the Tandem Artist (chosen by you).

If necessary, you will be asked to fill out our client forms and start the numbing process. During the numbing time of approximately 30-45 minutes, we'll get acquainted and learn about your goals... then our ideas will be shared to explain how we aim to achieve your goals.

Then the Tandem Artist will help you get all settled into a freshly sanitized chair. Connie will kick off the procedures by setting the template. Even at this early stage of the process, you'll be able to observe some beautiful changes.

The Tandem Artist will observe Connie as she lays in the preliminary boundaries, then will continue filling in the strokes according to the guidelines set by Connie.  They understand not to surpass these guidelines and will meticulously follow the plan.

When the procedure is almost complete, Connie will swing back by to offer her signature strokes and finishing touches to complete the process!

WE OPERATE IN A SAFE, YET EASY-GOING ENVIRONMENT!

We've always been an open concept salon. No one is shoved into a tight room with no windows. And there is plenty of room here for everyone to observe the 6'-8' of personal space we all need to stay safe. Hand washing and hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the studio and there is a standing sanitization unit at the front door. Please use it upon entry.

  • Thank you in advance for the courtesy of NOT ARRIVING TOO EARLY!

    • Since we work by appointment only, we may not be at the studio yet if you arrive too soon.

    • We do not need time before your appointment to pre-numb.

    • Numbing time is built into your session starting at the designated time of your arrival. We account for paperwork and numbing during this allotted appointment time.

ONE LAST THING... PLEASE CHECK YOUR NAVIGATION SYSTEM PRIOR TO LEAVING YOUR HOME. USE WAZE FOR BEST DRIVING DIRECTIONS.
